- Usage data: how you interact with our service to improve the product experience.
2. What We Don't Collect
CrowdTime does not collect:
- Keystrokes, screenshots, or screen recordings
- Browsing activity or app usage outside CrowdTime
- Location data or GPS tracking
- Microphone or camera data
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the CrowdTime service
- Process AI-powered time entry parsing
- Generate reports, invoices, and summaries you request
- Send service-related communications (account verification, security alerts)
- Provide customer support
4. Data Security
Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3, AES-256). We implement access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews to protect your information.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Service providers: who help us operate CrowdTime (hosting, payment processing, email delivery)
- AI providers: time entry descriptions are sent to AI services for parsing (anonymized where possible)

6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can export or delete your data at any time from your account settings. After account deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days.
